The program director for the Master in Genetic Counseling Program will be responsible for the management and leadership of operational, programmatic, and accreditation activities for the Genetic Counseling Program, maintaining discipline currency, which includes establishing, meeting, and continuously monitoring the program learning outcomes, while maintaining alignment with ACGC. The program director will work with the Faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of curriculum and instruction within the Genetic Counseling Program, ensure adequate clinical sites, and establish and maintain contacts within the Virginia Medical establishment to ensure the long-term success of the program, work with support staff in the area, and coordinate the responsibilities of the assigned program, under the direction of the Department…
