About the Role An Associate Optometrist at LensCrafters leads clinical care and brand performance by collaborating with store leadership to deliver high-quality optometric services. The role emphasizes patient-first service, adherence to protocols, and driving growth through KPI management and team partnership.
What You'll Do
- Ensure executional excellence in partnership with the MOD and store team.
- Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through KPI management and high accountability.
- Establish the Brand as the leading optical provider within the community.
- Operate as a stakeholder to all leaders and maintain a positive Doctor/patient relationship.
- Place the patient first and deliver exceptional service; meet or exceed KPI targets.
- Conduct eye exams per protocol; provide accurate diagnoses and appropriate recommendations.
- Explain each step of the eye exam, using tools and visuals to summarize and ensure understanding; communicate the need for annual exams.
- Schedule patients for their next eye exam (TAB) and maintain complete patient records.
- Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences and maintain office systems.
- Maintain state licensure and complete Continuing Education requirements.
- Provide effective training and feedback to team members; foster a positive culture and empower associates to make decisions near the patient.
- Lead by example in appearance, safety, and professionalism; ensure a safe working environment.
