About the Role An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor, delivering high quality optometric care while Luxottica operates the optical dispensary. This is a private, independent practice where terms, model, pay, and hours are negotiated directly with the Subleasing Doctor. What You'll Do
- Provide full-scope optometric care to patients within an independent LensCrafters practice
- Collaborate with the Subleasing Doctor and exercise professional autonomy to care for patients
- Use advanced OD equipment and digital eye examination technology (Clarifye) and imaging systems (Daytona/Optomap where available)
- Participate in a practice with automated online appointment booking and patient recall
- Maintain patient care, documentation, and high service standards What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Optometry licensed to practice in the United States
- Ability to operate as an Independent/Autonomous clinician within a Subleasing Doctor model
- Commitment to full-scope optometry and patient-centered care
- Comfort working in a high-tech, fully equipped OD office and using imaging/diagnostic tools
- Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to participate in part-time arrangements if offered Nice to Have
- Experience with digital retinal imaging (Optomap) and Clarifye
