Job title: Associate Optometrist
An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with Target Optical seeks an Associate Optometrist to join a private independent practice operating within Target Optical. You will work within the practice of a Subleasing Optometrist, with terms, schedule, and compensation negotiated directly with the Subleasing doctor. This role emphasizes professional autonomy and full-scope optometry.
What You'll Do
- Provide full-scope optometric care to patients in the Target Optical practice
- Exercise professional autonomy within the Subleasing Doctor's practice
- Flexible scheduling, including part-time commitments
- Work in a fully furnished OD office with equipment; potential access to Revolution EHR and pre-testing support; automated online appointment book and patient recall system
- Collaborate with the Subleasing Doctor and staff to deliver vision care
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Doctor of Optometry
- Interest in full-scope optometry with autonomy
- Ability to work in an independent private practice setting within a larger brand
- Willingness to collaborate with the Subleasing Doctor
- Comfort with using EHR systems (Revolution EHR optional)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Revolution EHR is a plus (some offices may offer)
