Role: The Proto Manager plays a pivotal role in managing prototype sample development and delivery, ensuring timely delivery to cross-functional teams and customer.

Qualification: B.E with Mechanical Engineering/ EE/ECE Mechatronics/Production Engineering is preferred, will be 10+ years of experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage internal and customer prototype deliveries
• Manage work schedules and job allocation for resources
• Liaise with plant team / EMS suppliers for build requirements and delivery timelines
• EBOM and MBOM for component-level analysis / understanding
• EQ/TQ evaluations and approvals
• Manage bare PWB procurement and ensure gerber file accuracy
• Manage supplier development for mechanical and electronic components
• Identify and mitigate risks for the sample build activities
• Oversee end-item assembly aligned with DFM principles
• Understanding of SMT process and knowledge on fixture design and development
• Prepare and manage PDIRs, SRD, and HSIS documentation
• Lead TISAX and IATF16949 audits and ensure process compliance
• Manage shipping and logistics documentation
• Proto team personnel management and appraisals
• Perform board-level debugging using schematics
• Utilize tools like CAN, CAPL scripting, and basic automation
• Handle lab equipment: RPS, Oscilloscope, DMM, Frequency Generator, etc
