Associate Machine Learning Consultant

About the Role We're currently looking for an An Associate Machine Learning Consultant to join our EMEA Open Banking Team and support the rollout of Trusso, our cutting-edge machine learning-based transaction categorization engine, across the EMEA region. You will combine analytics consulting, ML support, and hands-on data analysis. You will contribute to client projects, support the continuous improvement of our machine learning solutions, and perform analytical investigations to help optimize product performance and deliver value to our clients. You will report to the Trusso Product Lead. What You'll Do

• Support the continuous development and optimization of Trusso and related products through analytical investigations, model performance analysis, and delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Apply analytical techniques to investigate data, identify trends, and create insights to support product development and client engagements.
• Monitor, validate, and continuously improve ML models and analytics solutions through performance analysis, testing, and investigation of model outputs.
• Develop analytical scripts and tools using Python and related libraries to support data-driven decision-making.
• Analyze transactional datasets to identify categorisation opportunities, data quality issues, and recommendations for model improvement.
• Support stakeholders and clients with product and analytical insights and recommend potential solutions.
• Propose ideas that satisfy client requirements and address business problems.
• Design and execute analytical solutions using appropriate statistical and ML techniques.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, analytical engineers, and product teams to deliver outcomes.
• Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to product development projects and support business cases for new product enhancements.
• Coordinate with Experian's Analytics Pre-Sales team to contribute to sales opportunities and support conversion of prospects.
• Support business development opportunities through analytical expertise and product knowledge, and participate in client discussions as required.
• Perform ad-hoc analytical investigations and respond to client inquiries related to ML and transactional data analytics. What We're Looking For
• 3–5 years of experience in analytics, data science, risk analytics, or a related field, including 1–3 years of consulting or client-facing experience.
• Experience using Python for data analysis, including Pandas and related libraries.
• Understanding of ML concepts and practical experience applying analytical techniques to solve business problems.
• Knowledge or experience of credit risk analytics, financial services, banking, or transactional data analytics is advantageous. Nice to Have
