We are seeking an Associate who will be responsible for providing supports to all global users on their software needs. Primarily handles software asset management activities like creating, updating, tracking, monitoring, and maintaining software licenses in software management database, as well as monitoring application usage, and reporting compliance of software usage. IT Program associate works with different vendor to get the quote, review them internally and post approval process them for procurement. Working on opportunities to target unused or restricted software for re-harvest/redeployment. Person is responsible for tracking, Maintaining, and auditing the software records on periodic basis.
- Act as the primary point of contact for software requests, evaluations, and onboarding activities, delivering a seamless experience for every stakeholder.
- Conduct initial assessment, research, and resolution of software-related incidents and requests, ensuring fast and effective support.
- Evaluate new software requests against organizational standards for security, privacy, licensing, and governance to ensure full compliance.
- Partner with Procurement, Security, Legal, and Infrastructure teams to gather business and technical requirements and coordinate comprehensive reviews.
- Lead end-to-end software onboarding — from vendor assessments and contract reviews to security evaluations, compliance checks, and implementation readiness.
- Proactively assess risks, identify licensing or compliance concerns, and drive timely resolution of onboarding issues.
- Recommend approved alternatives that optimize costs, reduce risk, and eliminate tool duplication.
- Track onboarding progress, lead stakeholder communications, and ensure smooth software deployment and operational transition.
- Maintain accurate software asset, entitlement, and subscription records within SAM/ITAM systems.
- Manage the full software license lifecycle, including provisioning, renewals, optimization, reclamation, and retirement.
- Support software audits, vendor renewals, compliance reviews, reporting, and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Conduct periodic reviews of SaaS and other critical tools to ensure ongoing compliance with usage terms.
- Champion continuous improvement and automation across software onboarding, governance, and asset management processes.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in software asset management
- Skilled at interpreting and translating the terms and conditions of licensing agreements
- Solid knowledge of contract, licensing, and data privacy regulations, laws, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented, organized, and service-driven mindset
- A natural eye for cost-saving opportunities related to software and software maintenance
- Outstanding end-user service skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and an innovative thinker
- Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Proficient with Microsoft O365 tools
- Capable of preparing clear, insightful reports in tools like Excel
- Strong multitasking skills with diligent follow-up on open items
- SAM certification is a valuable plus
- Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro or other SAM tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of SaaS licensing models and at least one Tier-1 licensing program (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle)
- Fluency in English
