About the Role The role is responsible for providing in-force policy support to licensed advisors, Branch Managers, and Insurance Consultants within the Montreal and Quebec City region. It serves as a primary point of contact for policy servicing questions and collaborates with SWIS and internal teams to address issues and mitigate risk. What You'll Do
- Act as the main point of contact for licensed advisors in the region for in-force policy management activities, including delivering training on policy access within Centralize and best practices for servicing; reviewing statements and notices; flagging policies needing attention; undertaking policy analysis; requesting in-force illustrations; and providing any necessary paperwork to advisors.
- Proactively reviews a subset of in-force permanent life insurance policies at key milestones to identify potential issues and collaborates with advisors and SWIS colleagues to determine the best approach to address issues and mitigate risks.
- Take on Agent of Record for orphaned policies within the region, serving as the primary contact for those clients and managing their policies; may also handle select policies referred by unlicensed advisors or business partners.
- Triages requests for licensed advisors to take over as Agent of Record on policies sold by external agents, collaborating with SWIS to ensure new AORs are onboarded effectively and do not increase risk exposure.
- Identifies opportunities to introduce an Insurance Consultant into an in-force policy where there may be new business potential (e.g., conversions, re-applications, or secondary sales); proactively reviewing the in-force block for such opportunities. What We're Looking For
- Experience providing in-force policy support and servicing to licensed advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to train and support advisors on policy details and servicing best practices.
- Strong policy analysis, documentation, and paperwork handling skills.
- Experience managing Agent of Record relationships, including orphaned policies and onboarding new AORs.
- Collaboration skills to work with SWIS colleagues and cross-functional teams.
