About the Role Tyler Technologies is seeking an Associate Implementation Consultant to deliver professional services including consultation, education, and software readiness for Tyler products. This role involves analyzing client needs, conducting knowledge transfer sessions, troubleshooting issues, and creating custom configurations and reports, with extensive travel to client sites.
What You'll Do
- Provide professional services such as consultation, software readiness, and education to clients on Tyler software products.
- Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on site or via webinars.
- Educate users on software functionality, data entry, system administration, user security, and user permissions.
- Perform consultation/analysis of client business models to identify and document requirements for Tyler products and functionality.
- Recommend options for new approaches in client work processes to ensure efficient software solutions.
- Identify and document business/technical requirement specifications for software design/development, forms, reports, interfaces, processes, configurations, and changes.
- Consult with users to identify data mapping for product conversions and provide instruction on data proofing and analysis.
- Create custom reports or customize existing reports to satisfy client needs.
- Troubleshoot client issues or coordinate with Support/Development to resolve.
- Maintain administrative tasks: document client issues, communicate agendas, submit trip reports, timesheets, and weekly expense reports, and update activity.
- Assist QA with product/testing as required.
- Notify management of issues or events that could impact schedule or budget.
- Create client-facing and internal documentation such as quick tips and how-tos.
- Act as liaison between the client and Tyler’s technical staff, translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
- May participate in the annual User Conference and facilitate user group discussions.
- Extensive travel to client sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
- Typically a minimum of one year experience as an Associate Implementation Consultant or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of principles and concepts in the relevant domain; knowledge transfer skills.
- Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with computer systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Valid driver's license.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $58,285 - $84,600 per year (USD).
