About the Role The Associate General Counsel will handle a wide range of matters related to organizing, workers’ rights, legislative advocacy, and representation of Union members. The role supports the Office of the General Counsel in advancing labor standards and union administration. What You'll Do
- Represent the Union in federal and state court, and before the National Labor Relations Board and other administrative agencies.
- Draft and lobby on legislation, regulations and policies.
- Present cases to arbitrators and assist with contract negotiations.
- Advise Union officers and staff on organizing and bargaining campaigns, traditional labor law, internal Union administration, and some benefit fund matters. What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, excellent research and writing skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workers’ rights.
