Associate Field Service Engineer

About the Role Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking an Associate Field Service Engineer to support its diagnostic equipment across the Northland Territory. This role involves troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repairs, while delivering excellent customer service and technical training. You will report to the local Field Service Supervisor and work remotely from Eau Claire, WI. What You'll Do

• Under minimal direction, complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment; provide excellent and efficient service to customers, along with technical training on products.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records; order repair parts; adhere to cycle times.
• Utilize business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning and advancing team goals.
• Communicate with various levels of internal and external customers; foster collaboration by assisting with training of newer Field Service Engineers What We're Looking For
• Associate degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience.
• 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Ability to travel (valid driver license with acceptable driving record) and to cover assigned geography and occasional travel to other areas.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods.
• Be prepared to reach at, above and below shoulder level; maintain good hand and finger dexterity.
• Travel readiness and flexibility for field service work. Nice to Have
• 1+ years of advanced troubleshooting
• Developing relationships with internal and external customers to foster positive partnership
• A technical college major such as biomed, engineering, or related Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: 62,000 - 72,000 USD per year
• This role is eligible for a bonus/incentive pay
