JOB TITLE: Associate Director, Securitised Products Group, LBCM

LOCATION: London

HOURS: Full-time

What you’ll be doing:

You'll join a client-facing origination, structuring and execution team, with a long-established position of prominence in the UK and broader European securitisation markets.

Within Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM), the Securitised Products Group (SPG) are currently looking for two Associate Directors to join them within both the Corporate and Consumer teams. SPG are part of the Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) Global Markets business, based in London (and New York). The team provides both syndicated and bilateral asset-backed funding (alongside derivatives) to FI, corporate and specialist finance clients, as well as structuring, marketing and distributing public asset backed securities (ABS) globally.

As an Associate Director, you’ll support clients across FI, Corporate and Specialist Finance sectors, predominantly focused on autos, RMBS, consumer, SMEs, trade receivables, BNPL, and certain esoteric asset classes, also extending to other asset classes regularly originated by corporate and non-bank financial originators. You'll work closely with team members and colleagues across coverage and Global Markets to identify and develop new business opportunities.

You’ll be involved across the full transaction lifecycle: from origination and structuring through to execution and ongoing transaction management – taking accountability for certain workstreams and supporting senior colleagues. The role offers broad exposure, including financial modelling and data analysis, structuring considerations, building client relationships, transaction execution, along with preparation and delivery of client materials. You'll also play an active role in supporting origination and client engagement activity.

From building a truly sustainable business to creating a place where people love to work, we need colleagues who are up for the challenge of our bold ambitions. Who are excited to push boundaries and make change happen. Together, we can grow with purpose.

We know that strong candidates may not meet every requirement listed below. If this role is of interest, we would encourage you to apply.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years relevant securitisation and/or structured lending experience with an analytical or structuring focus, within a financial institution, rating agency or in an equivalent setting

  • A strong execution background, with experience supporting transactions through multiple stages of the deal lifecycle

  • An understanding of deal structures, credit risk, legal documentation and typical originators

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, with experience of cashflow modelling and data analysis

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to build relationships and effectively manage a variety of stakeholders, coupled with a collaborative approach to client delivery

  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and prioritise effectively

Ideally you’ll also have the following desirable Experience:

  • Experience with related asset classes – autos, RMBS, consumer, SMEs, trade receivables, BNPL, and other specialty assets

  • Public RMBS / ABS experience

  • Private securitisation lending / warehouse experience

  • Experience preparing credit or committee papers

  • Additional experience of other common modelling platforms
