About the Role Fitch Learning is seeking an Associate Director, Sales & Business Development based in our Chicago office. This role focuses on developing strategic client relationships, generating new business, and leading consultative sales conversations for our premium training and learning solutions. The position requires travel and offers commission-eligible earnings from day one.
What You'll Do
- Generate new business and grow sales revenue across target accounts
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach and networking
- Lead consultative sales conversations with clients and prospects
- Manage the full sales cycle, from discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close
- Identify sales opportunities to expand existing client relationships
- Partner with internal teams to sell and deliver tailored learning solutions
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting
- Travel approximately 20% to 40% of the time
- Commission-eligible from day one
What We're Looking For
- 5–8+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client relationship management
- Proven success in a consultative B2B sales role
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing multiple sales opportunities
- Experience in sales, financial services, training, education, or professional services preferred
- Knowledge of the US financial markets industry (nice to have)
- Experience selling training, learning, talent, or professional development solutions
- Strong consultative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a small, agile team environment and adapt to evolving client and business needs
- Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and growing strategic accounts over time

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting base salary: $120,000–$135,000 USD per year
- Total compensation may include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits
