About the Role The Associate Director, Medical will translate scientific and clinical data into strategic, actionable insights for client brands. This role requires critical thinking, ownership, and the ability to deliver high-quality work across multiple projects while collaborating with clients and internal teams. What You'll Do
- Provide strategic input to guide creation of clinically relevant educational content and ensure effective use of clinical data to reach strategic brand objectives
- Independently develop scientific content including analysis and interpretation of clinical data across diverse project types
- Conduct literature searches, monitor competitive landscape, and perform competitive analyses
- Establish strong relationships with clients and proactively contribute in client meetings
- Partner with internal teams to create peer-to-peer educational content and engagement projects for healthcare professionals, including slide decks, KOL video, digital and print media
- Collaborate with copy, art, and digital teams to create interactive programs utilizing scientific storytelling techniques and data visualization
- Collaborate to articulate Intouch’s POV and recommendations with clients
- Play a key role in educating team members on disease states, clinical trials, treatments, and competition
- Support submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes and incorporate client/regulatory feedback

- Perform all other duties as assigned What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in a medical sciences field
- Preferably two or more years of agency experience in medical education, medical communications and/or HCP marketing
- Strategic thinker capable of telling a scientific story to differentiate client products
- Two years minimum medical writing experience
- Experience creating branded or unbranded peer-to-peer educational content
- Expertise in extracting relevant information from clinical sources and writing medically accurate copy
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Client-facing confidence to advance dialogue and client relationships
- Experience with complex projects requiring collaboration between internal and external teams including key opinion leaders
- Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations, AMA editorial style and digital
