About the Role The Associate Director, Internal Communications, at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute plays a key role in cultivating a well-informed, engaged workforce and ensuring patients and families are well informed, supported, and confident—particularly during Dana-Farber’s clinical collaboration transition and in the lead-up and opening of the Future Cancer Hospital (FCH). This role focuses on patient and family communications and helps strategize internal communications to support Dana-Farber’s mission.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement internal communications strategies to educate and engage staff across the organization.
- Focus on patient and family communications to ensure clear, compassionate messaging during transitions and the Future Cancer Hospital opening.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver timely, accurate, and accessible communications.
- Lead efforts to measure effectiveness and adapt messaging as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in internal communications, preferably in healthcare or academic medical center environments.
- Ability to craft clear, compassionate communications for diverse audiences including patients, families, and staff.
- Strong collaboration with executive leadership and clinical teams; project management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: USD 120,300 - 134,500 per year.
