Job title: Associate Director, Data Science Trainer

About the Role The Associate Director, Data Science Trainer will be based in Fitch Learning's Riyadh, KSA office and join the Data Science Training faculty. You will design and deliver technical training programs in data science, analytics, and applied quantitative skills for banks, financial institutions, corporates, regulators, and multilaterals, across in-house, virtual, and public formats. The team operates with high visibility across client engagements and emphasizes practical, market-relevant learning solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and deliver high-quality training programs in data science, analytics, and related technical subject areas for corporate and professional learners.
• Create engaging learning materials, including presentations, practical exercises, case studies, assessments, and supporting resources.
• Deliver training across multiple formats, including virtual, in-person, and blended learning environments.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical, and accessible learning experiences for varied audiences.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of Fitch Learning’s data science curriculum and broader technical training portfolio.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, including product, sales, and client-facing teams, to support tailored learning solutions for clients.
• Stay current on trends and developments in data science, analytics, machine learning, and learning design to ensure content remains relevant and market aligned.
• Use learner and client feedback to continuously improve training quality, learner engagement, and program outcomes.
• Support business development efforts, where appropriate, by contributing subject matter expertise to proposals, pitches, and client discussions.

What We're Looking For

• Strong subject matter expertise in data science, analytics, statistics, machine learning, or a related field.
• Experience designing and delivering training, teaching, facilitation, or professional learning programs in technical subject areas.
• Confident presenting to a range of audiences and can explain complex concepts in a clear, engaging, and practical way.
• Hands-on experience with relevant tools, programming languages, or data visualization platforms.
• Skilled at developing high-quality learning content that is both technically robust and learner-focused.
• Commercially aware and able to align learning solutions with client and market needs.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering training within financial services, banking, capital markets, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with applying data science concepts to commercial, credit, risk, or financial use cases.
• Experience developing customized training solutions for corporate clients.
• Knowledge of learning design best practices across digital, blended, and instructor-led formats.
• A desire to innovate by bringing fresh ideas to course design, delivery, and assessment.
• An advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
