Job title: Associate Director, Contracting
About the Role The Managed Care Contracting Associate Director will provide leadership and management oversight of Market Access Contract processes by facilitating negotiation and administration of all Payer, Provider and Trade & Distribution contracts. This person will partner with, among others, Account Management, Finance, Government Pricing & Rebate Operations, GTN, Legal, Marketing and Payer Marketing to ensure appropriate identification and evaluation of contracting opportunities. These responsibilities will apply across all Vertex marketed product lines and pipeline products.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage oversight of Market Access Contract processes, including negotiation and administration of payer, provider, and trade & distribution contracts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Account Management, Finance, Government Pricing & Rebate Operations, GTN, Legal, Marketing, and Payer Marketing to identify and evaluate contracting opportunities.
- Ensure contracting opportunities are identified and addressed across Vertex marketed products and pipeline products.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership and management experience overseeing Market Access Contract processes.
- Experience facilitating negotiations and administration of payer, provider, and trade & distribution contracts.
- Ability to partner with cross-functional teams including Account Management, Finance, Government Pricing & Rebate Operations, GTN, Legal, Marketing and Payer Marketing.
- Experience applying contracting strategies across Vertex product lines including pipeline products.
