About the Role
Vertex is seeking an experienced leader to join the US Commercial Operations team. This role will partner closely with business and field leadership to enhance field effectiveness by ensuring appropriate resourcing, clear communication, and strong support across field-facing initiatives. The Associate Director will collaborate across Commercial Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategy into executable field initiatives and drive business performance. This role directly supports one of the US business units as a trusted partner and field excellence lead, reporting to the Director, Customer Strategy & Execution.
What You'll Do
- Partner with key business leaders to understand and translate business strategy into prioritized commercial operations initiatives and solutions.
- Partner with the Commercial Operations teams to define and lead a portfolio of field enablement projects, ensuring clear and aligned prioritization, communication, quality, and timeliness of training and delivery.
- Establish simplified standards for tracking and clear communications.
