About the Role The Associate Director, Access & Reimbursement (ADAR) CV in West Texas is a remote and field-based role covering San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Lubbock, TX. The ADAR educates defined accounts on access and reimbursement topics, drives pull-through of access strategies into account workflows, and partners with NPC field teams to address payer policy, billing/coding education, claims processing, and related patient access needs. What You'll Do
- Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access within their aligned therapeutic area products, proactively provide face-to-face education on programs to providers and staff to support integration of those products into office processes and workflows.
- Work with key members of therapeutic area offices (e.g., executives, providers, administrators, billing and coding staff, claims departments, revenue cycle managers) to appropriately support patient access to products.
- Analyze problems and offer solutions; understand specifics and support questions associated with patient reimbursement, billing, and coding as needed.
- Manage the pull-through of access and reimbursement strategy and downstream operations within aligned accounts.
- Coordinate and communicate cross-functionally within NPC (e.g., Patient Support Center, Customer Engagement, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State & Government Affairs, Trade, Specialty Pharmacy Account Management, and other applicable third-party affiliates). What We're Looking For
- Deep expertise in communicating requirements and addressing barriers associated with local payer policy coverage, multi-channel acquisition pathways, billing and coding education (as needed), claims processing, reimbursement, and integration of manufacturer support programs into a range of account workflows.
- Ability to analyze problems, problem-solve, and manage multiple projects in a field-based setting.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience coordinating with teams such as Patient Support Center, Customer Engagement, Marketing, Market Access, Public Affairs, State & Government Affairs, Trade, and Specialty Pharmacy Account Management.
- Willingness to reside within the West Texas territory or within a reasonable commuting distance (about 60 miles) and to travel as required to support accounts.
