About the Role
Associate, Customer Service Support focused on Master Data and Pricing Master Data in a global medical device company, ensuring accurate customer and pricing data to support sales and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Master Data Setup and Management: input and maintain customer master data in systems, including contact details, account info, and regulatory data for medical devices; classify customers by purchasing behavior, market segment, and strategic importance.
- Pricing Master Data: set up and update pricing data with approvals; manage discounts, promotional pricing, and volume-based pricing; keep price lists current with market and regulatory changes.
- Data Quality Assurance: regularly clean master data, remove duplicates, validate against standards, enforce data governance; use data profiling to address data degradation.
- Data-related Communication and Collaboration: be the main data contact for Chinese sales teams; support pricing quotes, updated customer information, and market-based pricing adjustments; generate reports on customer purchasing history.
- Communication with Customers: verify contact details, understand product requirements, gather pricing feedback, resolve data inquiries; identify data improvement areas and share insights with internal teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: collaborate with IT, finance, and supply chain; optimize master data systems; validate pricing data for reporting; align data with inventory and planning.
- Emergency Issue Resolution: after-hours and weekend availability to address critical data issues; keep records for process improvement.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: analyze trends for upsell opportunities and pricing optimization; generate dashboards and reports on data accuracy and changes.
What We're Looking For
- Language Proficiency: fluent in both Chinese and English for cross-border communication and stakeholder interactions.
- Technical Skills: experience with master data management systems, SAP or similar ERP modules; strong data entry, cleaning, and analysis using Excel; familiarity with Tableau or Power BI for visualization.
- Experience and Knowledge: 3-5 years in master data management, ideally in medical devices; understanding of product catalogs, classification, pricing models, and regulatory environment.
- Personal Attributes: high attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy; excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration.
