• Volt is currently hiring for a Collections Specialist in Simi Valley, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Perform collections calls and written correspondence to recover outstanding balances and reduce delinquent accounts.
• Provide exceptional customer service while resolving receivable issues, payment discrepancies, and account disputes.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and resolutions that support company objectives and customer relationships.
• Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, including account reviews, notices, and legal filing documentation as needed.
• Maintain accurate account records, collection notes, and submit scheduled reports to management.
• Partner with Sales and Management teams to accelerate collections on delinquent accounts.
• Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding customer account status and collection activities.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, sales personnel, and other internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and collection procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or related experience preferred.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computerized accounting or ERP systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

• Pay Rate: $25.00/hour,

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
