Associate (Business Advisory)

About the Role This role will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal guidance and support to our clients in various business-related matters. You will work closely with senior attorneys and other team members to deliver high-quality legal services, contribute to client relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our firm. What You'll Do

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on business advisory-related issues.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex business advisory matters; stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate and up-to-date advice.
• Interact directly with clients, both in-person and through written communication, to understand their legal needs and provide sound legal advice. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions aligned with clients' goals and objectives.
• Prepare and review a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, identify potential risks, and propose suitable modifications to protect the client's interests.
• Conduct due diligence reviews on commercial transactions (if required), and other corporate matters. Identify potential legal issues, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of legal documents such as legal opinions, memoranda, presentations, and correspondence. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to legal standards and best practices.
• Assist clients in meeting regulatory requirements and navigating complex legal frameworks. Stay informed about regulatory updates and advise clients on the impacts on their business. Advise on legal and compliance matters that impact clients' business operations.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, including senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive legal solutions. Share knowledge, contribute to team discussions, and support the professional development of junior team members.
• Support the team in structuring and executing significant commercial transactions, partnerships, and collaborations within the fintech field. Work closely with senior lawyers to develop legal strategies and ensure quality and timely delivery of services to clients. Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and workload is balanced. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong legal research and analysis skills.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents.
• Experience performing due diligence on commercial transactions and corporate matters.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and staying updated on regulatory developments.
• Ability to interact with clients directly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting fintech-related transactions and partnerships.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
