About the Role We are seeking an experienced Associate (3-5 PQE) with a proven track record in M&A to join our Corporate team in Birmingham. You will work with highly respected partners on a range of high-profile UK and cross-border matters, contributing to a fast-growing Birmingham practice and benefiting from clear progression opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Work on UK and international M&A transactions (acquisitions, investments, disposals) including deals with private equity sponsors and founders.
- Draft and negotiate deal documentation, perform due diligence, and assist with deal execution and closing.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, and external counsel; coordinate deal teams across domestic and cross-border matters.
- Contribute to business development and client relationship management; deliver high-quality work in a collaborative team environment.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) with a strong M&A background.
- Proven track record in corporate/M&A matters, including private equity experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing role; strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Interest in developing further within a UK and international corporate practice.
