About the Role Join Squire Patton Boggs in Birmingham as an Associate (3-5 PQE) with a strong M&A background to support a growing Corporate practice. You’ll work on a range of high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions for UK and international clients, with a culture that emphasises collaboration and development opportunities. The Birmingham team has been expanding quickly, handling a substantial deal flow and serving both local and international clients. What You'll Do
- Advise UK and international public and private companies on domestic and cross-border M&A and related transactions.
- Collaborate with nationally and internationally respected partners and contribute to a strong deal pipeline (the Birmingham team completed nearly 60 deals worth £3.8bn in the last year).
- Take on responsibility for high-quality work, with opportunities for leadership and client involvement as you develop within the team. What We're Looking For
- An experienced Associate with a solid background in M&A and corporate transactions (3-5 PQE).
- Proven track record in leveraging M&A experience to deliver commercial, deal-focused advice.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment and manage relationships with clients and lawyers at all levels.
- Experience with UK and international cross-border transactions; familiarity with private equity is a plus. Nice to Have
