About this role

AISG Associate Business Analyst supports small commercial policy holders, independent agents, and other stakeholder groups by answering phone calls and completing work items through email. To solve problems, analysts apply technical and contextual knowledge of small commercial systems, diverse products, and quoting platforms as well as knowledge of stakeholder procedures. Analysts troubleshoot, resolve, and document systems related issues and/or system access problems of moderate complexity in a timely and efficient manner while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Learns business processes and research methodologies.
Gains exposure to conducting analysis and preparing recommendations.
Supports implementation of business process improvements.
Develops knowledge of metrics and tools.

Capabilities typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience and preferably 1-3 years of related experience
Preferred knowledge of small commercial insurance, applications, products and tools
Intermediate knowledge of Underwriting rating process, applicable products, systems and platforms
Extensive critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Very strong logic and analytical capabilities required
Strong knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies
Strong relationship management, oral and written communication skills
Expertise of commercial insurance products desirable
