Job title: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Law

About the Role The University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Law to teach constitutional law commencing in the 2027-2028 academic year. Eligible candidates can be considered for the Anthony M. Kennedy Chair. The role emphasizes outstanding teaching and scholarship in a collegial, student-oriented environment. Additional curricular needs include property, contracts, intellectual property, business associations, remedies, family law, employment law, community property, criminal procedure, wills and trusts, negotiation, mediation, and legal research and writing. What You'll Do

  • Teach constitutional law commencing in the 2027-2028 academic year, and contribute to a broad curriculum including property, contracts, intellectual property, business associations, remedies, family law, employment law, community property, criminal procedure, wills and trusts, negotiation, mediation, and legal research and writing.
  • Engage in scholarship and service, contributing to the law school’s mission and its commitment to anti-racism and inclusive excellence.
  • Participate in faculty governance, student mentoring, and support for a diverse student body.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: USD 130,000 - 175,000 per year.
