About the Role The College of Veterinary Medicine at LIU invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences and Field Liaison. The role involves conducting facilities inspections of clinical sites used during the 4th year of the DVM program and analyzing data from preclinical and clinical phases, with opportunities to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.

What You'll Do

• Conduct facilities inspections of clinical sites used during the 4th year of the DVM program.
• Analyze data collected during the preclinical and clinical phases of the DVM program.
• Collaborate with team members to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Support research activities as primary investigator or collaborator.
• Demonstrate excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.

What We're Looking For

• DVM or similar degree from an AVMA-COE accredited program.
• Experience working with students in a veterinary program.
• Demonstrated ability to publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to support research activities as primary investigator or collaborator.
• Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000 - $175,000 USD per year.
