About the Role
Zurich Canada is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Senior Property Risk Consultant to provide risk assessment expertise and consulting services to support our large-property risk accounts. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Property – General, you will act as an account coordinator and on-site representative for multiple accounts, collaborating with underwriting partners to manage portfolio risk quality and support client risk-control programs. - Assess the quality of complex property risks, focusing on key/strategic assets as defined by Zurich Resilience Solutions standards.
- Assess potential losses in line with Zurich and industry definitions.
- Support external clients by identifying, evaluating and reducing risks related to their key/strategic assets and overall account portfolios.
- Provide appropriate recommendations for risk improvement; conduct loss investigations (including trend analysis and root-cause analysis) and implement risk-improvement programs.
- Communicate effectively with on-site risk engineers; maintain relationships with underwriting partners, brokers, industry consultants, professional organizations, and other stakeholders; coordinate follow-up meetings.
- Coordinate account activities and serve as field representative for multiple accounts.
