Job title: Assistant Store Manager
About the Role The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store, including sales, customer service, operations, administration, communication, and merchandising. You may assume the Store Manager's responsibilities in their absence to keep the business running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Assist in meeting personal and store sales goals and tracking business results; lead by example to provide an elevated level of service.
- Develop product knowledge and help the team build strong selling techniques; stay informed on fashion industry trends.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service; build repeat clientele using client books and resolve client issues quickly.
- Collaborate on risk management, cash controls, inventory management, and training; execute register functions and participate in inventories.
- Support merchandising/visual directives; keep the selling floor neat and reflecting brand image; process deliveries timely; communicate inventory needs.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and development of the team; support payroll integrity and performance feedback; uphold image and grooming standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in retail store leadership or supervisory roles; ability to lead a team and drive sales.
- Strong customer service orientation, product knowledge, and fashion industry awareness.
- Ability to train, coach, and develop associates; effective communication and collaboration with store leadership and HR.
- Proficiency with cash handling, POS/register functions, and inventory control.
- Results-driven with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment and step in as Store Manager when needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Range: 50,000.00 - 60,000.00 CAD. Salary figures reflect full-time equivalency where applicable.
