About the Role As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support daily store operations, lead the team, and handle staffing efforts in partnership with the Store Manager to drive sales, operational excellence, and development of store associates.
What You'll Do
- Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are met
- Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Assist with inventory control, inventory transactions, and shrink prevention
- Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards
- Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service
- Assist the Store Manager with hiring and recruiting activities, including candidate screening, interviews, onboarding, and training support
