Assistant Store Manager (Fixed Term)

About the Role Assistant Store Manager is an integral part of the store management team by developing the store team and contributing to the successful implementation of strategies and operational excellence that ensure brand equity, customer satisfaction and financial growth. Assumes responsibility for store in the absence of Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager. This fixed-term role supports the Store Manager in driving performance across all store functions and contributes to maintaining Levi's brand standards while delivering a compelling customer experience. What You'll Do

• Demonstrates strong business acumen; understand organizational objectives and strategically prioritize and budget in partnership with Store Manager to align with company priorities and values.
• Works with the Store Manager to develop and flex store business strategies, initiatives, and growth across all categories; communicates goals to the team and tracks performance to meet or exceed sales and performance targets daily.
• Lead and participate in training for new hires and current employees on LS&CO culture, product knowledge, service practices, loss prevention, store policy and programs and other associate responsibilities.
• Support the Store Manager through execution of performance management tools, including annual reviews, to set expectations, coach, and contribute to an engaging environment; manage minor employee relations and deliver formal feedback in partnership with store management.
• Recruit and interview for positions under the store hierarchy and provide recommendations for new hires.
• Understand and comply with Levi’s policies, procedures, and programs; ensure operational results in store procedures, payroll, cash handling and inventory control.
• Lead merchandising team to execute store visual standards; ensure timely and flawless product presentation and housekeeping.
• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures including counting funds, deposits, opening/closing registers, and securing the facility.
• Adopt and advocate for new technology, policy or program rolled out in store.
• Communicate effectively with the management team to align and drive business strategy and foster engagement.
• Supervise store team in the absence of other management.
• Create a high-energy store experience by engaging customers and coaching associates on service and sales excellence; proactively resolve consumer concerns per company policy.
• Maintain interior and exterior upkeep with corporate partnership; ensure esthetic and safety standards are met.
• Ensure store tasks are completed timely and with direction to team members when needed. What We're Looking For
• 3+ years progressive retail leadership experience with proven supervising, coaching and training skills; demonstrates discretion and tact.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
