About this role

About the Role This is a supervisory role within Burberry's RETAIL OFFLINE London store. The role supports the Store Manager to drive category performance and ensure a premium Burberry Experience for customers by coaching a high-performing sales team and delivering exceptional service. What You'll Do

  • Lead sales associates to improve selling skills and close sales to achieve sales goals and KPIs
  • Drive sales for an assigned category, partnering with the Store Manager on sell-through and training the team on the category
  • Lead a high-performing, customer-facing service-oriented team
  • Coach and provide feedback to ensure every customer is served with the Burberry Experience per brand strategies
  • Manage customer flow to ensure the best possible service and that no client is left unattended
  • Set the pace and standard to deliver excellent service; drive collaboration on the selling floor between sales associates, specialists, stock and operations
  • Provide "in the moment" coaching after every transaction and client interaction; follow up on actions with associates
  • Work with the Store Manager to develop and retain talented employees with monthly development plans and annual performance reviews
  • Lead the integration of new joiners; model Burberry Experience
  • Partner with Store Manager and Training to own Burberry Experience training within the store
  • Use morning and weekly meetings to reinforce Burberry Experience via role-play and discuss difficulties
  • Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary
  • In the absence of store management, handle post-void transactions and authorise promotional discounts and employee sales
  • Drive the digital experience in store and use digital resources to communicate when face-to-face is not possible
  • Hold a good understanding of the business and effectively communicate needs and ideas to bring the business to the next level
  • Follow company policies and procedures and consistently enforce guidelines on operations
  • Create and maintain an open, positive and harmonious work environment
  • Assist with opening and closing of store including securing doors, windows and merchandise, arming of store, and POS procedures
  • Additional duties as required What We're Looking For
  • 1-2 years previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
  • Advanced knowledge of POS systems
  • Ability to handle complex customer service issues (e.g., dissatisfied customers, complaints, returns, repairs & after-sales)
  • Fluent and professional dialogue with clients and staff
  • Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and comfortable with digital tools Nice to Have
