About the Role Supporting the Store Manager to drive category performance with supervision of sales team and ensure great Burberry customer experiences on the shop floor. What You'll Do
- Lead sales associates to improve selling skills and achieve sales goals and KPIs
- Drive sales for an assigned category; partner with Store Manager on sell-through; train team on the category
- Lead a high performing, service-oriented team; coach and provide feedback to ensure the Burberry Experience
- Manage customer flow to deliver excellent service; set pace and standards on the selling floor
- Drive collaboration between sales associates, specialists, stock and operations; coach in the moment and follow up on actions
- Work with Store Manager to develop and retain talent via development plans and annual reviews; integrate new joiners
- Lead by example delivering the Burberry Experience; partner with Store Manager and Training for experience training
- Use morning/weekly meetings for reinforcement of Burberry Experience elements through role-play
- Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate as needed; handle post-void transactions and promotional discounts in absence of store management
- Drive the in-store digital experience and communicate via digital tools when face-to-face isn’t possible
- Communicate business needs and ideas to elevate performance; enforce company policies and maintain a positive work environment
- Assist with opening/closing duties, store security, and POS procedures; perform additional duties as required What We're Looking For
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems
- Ability to handle complex customer service issues; professional dialogue with clients and staff
- 1-2 years of previous supervisory or management experience in retail sales
- Comfortable with digital tools and Apple mobile devices
- Thorough understanding of company policies and the ability to enforce them Nice to Have
- Experience with Apple devices and fluency with digital tools is preferred Compensation & Benefits
