SO WHATS THE STORY - Assistant Store Manager - Bordeaux
We are looking for a motivated and inspiring Assistant Store Manager to lead our diverse team in our Bordeaux store.
Our Assistant Store Manager will work closely with our Store Manager to create a strong partnership to provide leadership, guiding the team to deliver an exceptional service offering that supports Dr Martens’ growth. While focusing on your own development, you will be a driving force in cultivating an excellent working environment in your store, always ensuring the wellbeing of your teams is at the heart of your decision making.
- Take daily responsibility for retail operations in line with company expectations (coaching, sales analysis, merchandising and administration).
- Take full responsibility for the store and team in the Store Manager’s absence.
- Take responsibility for health, safety and security matters within the store.
- Achieve KPI targets (e.g., sales/CR/UPT) in line with the store P&L budget.
- Lead and implement high standards of customer experience and product knowledge within the team through coaching to create a consistent and cohesive customer experience.
- Ensure stock management procedures are followed, including inventories, receiving and loss prevention actions.
- Work closely with your Store Manager to make business decisions for your store in line with our business goals.

- To become our Assistant Store Manager, you must have or be:
- Passion for our products.
- Several years of similar experience in an Assistant Manager or Supervisor role, ideally within a fashion/lifestyle brand.
- Comfortable coaching, developing and mentoring teams.
- Sales-oriented and able to motivate others to achieve store goals.
- Resilient with a solution-focused mindset.
- Professional-level English. Other languages are a plus.
- Good knowledge of information technologies – ability to use Microsoft Office and POS systems.
