About the Role We are looking for an engaging, inspirational Assistant Store Manager to help lead the diverse team at our Ashford Outlet. Working in partnership with the Store Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to deliver an outstanding service offer, support store growth, and focus on your own development and the wellbeing of your team. What You'll Do
- Take responsibility for day-to-day retail operations to company expectations (Coaching, sales analysis, visual merchandising and administration)
- Assume complete responsibility for the store and team in the Store Manager's absence
- Take responsibility for health & safety and security issues within the store
- Achieve set KPIs (e.g. Sales/CR/UPT) in line with the store P&L budget
- Lead and implement high standards of customer experience and product knowledge within the team through a coaching approach to create a seamless and consistent customer experience
- Ensure appropriate stock management procedures are followed including stock take, processing deliveries, and loss prevention actions
- Work closely with your Store Manager, Regional Manager and Head Office to take commercial decisions for your store in line with business objectives
- Lead by example on DE&I and wellbeing; promote a culture that aligns with Dr. Martens values
- Build a highly engaged team with a collaborative culture and strong relationship management
- Take ownership of your own development, proactively seek feedback and share best practices across the team and business What We're Looking For

- Similar experience in an Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor role, ideally within a retail environment
- Strong relationship management and teamwork
