Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Pattern: Rotational shifts, 6-day workweek, including weekends and public holidays

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales and profitability, improve customer experience, manage inventory, control shrinkage, and supervise staff.
• The successful candidate will act as the second-in-command and oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales performance and operational efficiency.
• Monitor stock availability, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and shrinkage.
• Ensure excellent customer service and effective complaint resolution.
• Supervise, coach, and manage staff productivity.
• Maintain store standards, hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor store performance and ensure operational issues are resolved promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Retail Management, Management Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail, FMCG, or store operations, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, sales performance, and loss prevention.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and retail/POS systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary

N1,000,000 per month.
