About the Role You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering this complex, multi-jurisdictional bridge replacement project. Reporting to the Resident Engineer, you’ll support field oversight, inspection, quality assurance, and contract administration throughout all phases of construction—from foundation and falsework through bridge deck placement and roadway tie-ins. What You'll Do
- Perform and oversee daily inspection and quality assurance activities on bridge and roadway construction.
- Verify contractor work for conformance with approved plans, specifications, and special provisions.
- Coordinate with contractors, utilities, and public agencies to resolve field issues and minimize delays.
- Support the Resident Engineer in preparing and negotiating contract change orders.
- Review contractor submittals, RFI responses, and progress schedules.
