Assistant Resident Care Director

About the Role The Assistant Resident Care Director (ARCD) assists the Resident Care Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating the Resident Care department to ensure the highest degree of quality care and experience for each resident. The ARCD provides direct resident care under the direction of the RCD and models Commonwealth Senior Living (CSL) philosophies, standards, and practices. As a Culture Ambassador, this role leads by example and helps ensure all team members embody CSL core values. What You'll Do

• Assist the Resident Care Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating the Resident Care department to ensure the highest quality of care and resident experience.
• Utilize the nursing process to perform nursing functions in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and Federal/State regulatory licensing requirements.
• Provide direct resident care under the direction of the RCD and align with CSL philosophies, standards, and practices.
• Administer medications and supervise staff; participate in care management and service planning as needed.
• Act as a Culture Ambassador, modeling CSL core values and leading by example.
• Work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule (11am to 7pm) and be available for weekends/evenings as needed, including on-call responsibilities. What We're Looking For
• Graduate of a state-approved school of practical nursing or has a current active state certification in medication administration.
• At least one (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric or rehabilitation settings; experience with medication administration.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and sound nursing judgment; CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willingness to become trained in state assessments and service plans per regulatory licensing requirements.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed for resident care; driver with acceptable driving record; proficient with basic office equipment. Compensation & Benefits
