About the Role The Assistant Regional Manager serves as a key support role to the Regional Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising assigned staff, and ensuring the successful execution of projects and initiatives. This position focuses on proactive leadership, addressing staff and member needs, and fostering organizational growth in alignment with UDW's mission and values.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Regional Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure projects are completed on time and meet organizational objectives.
- Monitor progress on projects related to member servicing, union campaigns, leadership development, and community outreach.
- Provide regular reports on project status, identifying challenges and recommending solutions to ensure smooth execution.
- Support the implementation of regional plans to expand membership through orientations, meetings, house visits, and special events.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance outreach strategies and member education efforts.
- Ensure administrative processes maintain accurate membership data and comply with organizational standards.
- Support the supervision of department staff, providing guidance and feedback to ensure alignment with regional goals.
- Assist in training staff and volunteers in effective organizing strategies, leadership development, and advocacy techniques.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive coaching to improve performance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $87,000.00 – $102,000.00 per year
- Salary Type: Yearly
- Work location: In office; Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
