Description
- Runofeeds is seeking a competent and experienced Assistant QA/QC Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring the quality of raw materials and finished feed products.
- Conduct routine quality checks and inspections during the production process.
- Ensure production processes comply with established quality standards.
- Collect and document samples for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records and reports.
- Identify and report quality deviations or non-conformities.
- Assist in ensuring proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards within the production environment.
- Support the QA/QC Officer in implementing quality control procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- Must have previous work experience in a poultry/feed manufacturing company.
- B.Sc./HND in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of quality control procedures and standards in feed production.
- Ability to conduct and document quality checks on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished feed products.
- Strong attention to detail and good record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work effectively with the Production and Warehouse teams.
- Must be willing to work in a feed manufacturing environment.
- Must be resident in Asaba, Delta State, or willing to relocate.
