We're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team based in Thorpe Park, Leeds.

Location: Thorpe Park, Leeds

Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an excellent opportunity to support the delivery of wastewater infrastructure and sewage treatment works projects. You'll work alongside the Project Manager to coordinate site activities, manage programme delivery, engage with stakeholders, and oversee project costs and regulatory compliance. This role offers valuable exposure across all stages of the project lifecycle and will help develop your technical, commercial and leadership capabilities within the water infrastructure sector.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll be working within the project team, supporting them in the safe and successful delivery of water infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include:

• Assisting with project planning and delivery, ensuring work is completed on time, safely and to specification
• Supporting engagement with key stakeholders including clients, regulators, local authorities and the supply chain
• Monitoring project budgets, cost forecasts and assisting with NEC4 contract administration
• Site monitoring to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
• Daily liaison with sub-contractors and coordination of design, procurement and construction activities

This role of Assistant Project Manager is great for you if:

• You have experience within the utility sector supervising a team (EUSR SHEA Water)
• You hold a Full driving licence
• You're highly organised with strong IT skills
• You have an efficient and professional approach with the ability to multitask
• You have excellent communication skills and actively promote wellbeing and inclusion within your team
