Assistant Project Lead - Interiors

Position Overview

Support the Project Lead in delivering interior fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception through completion. Coordinate design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders while ensuring projects meet client requirements, quality standards, budgets, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination

• Assist in managing interior projects including workplace fit-outs, refurbishments, and base building installations. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget compliance.

• Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with clients, design teams, contractors, and internal JLL teams. Facilitate meetings, distribute project communications, and ensure alignment across all parties.

• Design & Documentation

• Support design development and review processes. Track design submissions, manage approval workflows, and ensure documentation compliance with client standards and local regulations.

• Financial Management

• Assist in budget preparation, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Review contractor invoices, process variations, and maintain accurate project financial records.

• Quality & Compliance

• Monitor construction quality, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to design intent, building codes, and health and safety requirements. Support handover documentation and defect management processes.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in interior fit-out project delivery
• Understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and finishes
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with commercial workplace projects
• Familiarity with sustainability standards (LEED, WELL)
• Knowledge of local building regulations and compliance requirements
