About the Role The University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law invites applications for a faculty position as Assistant Professor of Law, Legal Practice in the Global Lawyering Skills program. The candidate will teach courses in the Global Lawyering Skills program, a three-semester sequence focused on legal research, writing, analysis, oral advocacy, and other essential lawyering skills. The position is initially offered on term contracts with a trajectory toward an indefinite-term appointment, and candidates should be eager to join a collegial, student-centered faculty.
What You'll Do
- Teach courses within the Global Lawyering Skills program and contribute to the legal writing curriculum.
- Engage in high-quality teaching and scholarship.
- Collaborate with a collegial, student-centered faculty and support a dynamic learning environment.
- Contribute to the three-semester program focusing on legal research, writing, analysis, and oral advocacy.
