About the Role The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio is offering a full-time Assistant Professor position in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. The division is seeking a dedicated physician-scientist with an interest in basic and/or translational research. The role includes minimal clinical time seeing patients for the UC Health system and opportunities to contribute to a growing program in infectious diseases in collaboration with UC Health and affiliated centers. What You'll Do
- Contribute to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the division.
- Provide general infectious disease consultations and ambulatory clinics.
- Actively participate in departmental fellowship programs, and contribute to resident and medical student teaching.
- Teach through precepting fellows, medical students and residents in office-based practice, and by delivering lectures or leading small group discussions as part of the COM or residency curriculum, including clinical case conferences, core curricula and journal clubs. What We're Looking For
- MD or DO degree prior to effective date of appointment.
- Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases as defined by ACGME.
- Completion of a 3-year Internal Medicine residency and completion of 2-year Infectious Disease fellowship training.
- Current State of Ohio medical license. Nice to Have
