Job Purpose

The University of Scranton Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in clinical psychology beginning in August 2027.

Essential Duties

The successful applicant will conduct research, mentor students, and teach clinically focused courses including but not limited to psychopathology and courses in their area of expertise. Specialty area is open, but with a preference for child clinical, health, or clinical neuropsychology. The Department can furnish supervision toward psychology licensure, if desired.

The University of Scranton is an AAUP unionized faculty. We are in northeastern Pennsylvania, in the rolling foothills of the Pocono Mountains. Scranton is a small city with a vibrant cultural community, just a two-hour drive from New York City and Philadelphia.

Education
