Job title: Assistant Producer
About the Role The Fitzwater Center is hiring 8 Assistant Producers to work with a team of camera operators for a specific sport each season. Fall sports include field hockey, men's soccer, women's soccer, and football. The Assistant Producer ensures FloSport content requirements are met by coordinating run-of-show, loading graphics, attending production meetings, and managing equipment and setup before gametime.
What You'll Do
- Prepare a run-of-show for each game and load graphics by Friday morning production meetings
- Attend all production meetings
- Inventory equipment, transport to the press box, and set up all equipment ahead of FloSport deadline (one hour before gametime)
- Handle audio and switching content during the game
- Monitor talent and assist with on-air operations
- Tear down, take inventory, and return equipment to the Fitzwater Center
- Be on-call for unexpected situations (sick staff, change of game time)
- Drive a van or shuttle for RSN to transport equipment and/or students/staff
What We're Looking For
- RSN members experienced in sports media technology
- Willing to undergo training at the start of the season and participate in ongoing professional development, including weekly production meetings
- On-call availability for unexpected situations
- Ability to drive a van or shuttle for RSN to transport equipment and/or students/staff
- Students with a Federal Work Study are encouraged to apply
