Judson University

A full-time Assistant or Associate Professor level position in Finance, beginning in August 2027. The faculty member will teach in the Department of Business in the Roeser College of Business and Innovation.

Primary Responsibilities

Teach a full course-load in undergraduate and graduate level classes.
Collaborate with Roeser colleagues in research for publication in quality finance journals.
Assist Advisees in registering for courses and serve on committees as assigned.
Provide ongoing consultation to the Registrar’s Office regarding student placement and course transfer equivalencies.
Maintain ongoing assessment of the finance related programs and of the service courses in finance in consultation with other disciplinary areas and the General Education program.

Qualifications

A PhD (or ABD candidates near completion) from an accredited institution is preferred.
Demonstrate an active and growing Christian faith
Commitment to a Christian liberal arts education with an ability to integrate faith in the discipline in an engaging and compelling manner
Possess collaborative skills to work with colleagues across the Business Department and throughout the university.
Teaching will be in-person on Judson’s Elgin campus, so candidate must be within commutable distance to Judson.
