Assistant News Director
CBS Atlanta, the brand-new station in the CBS stations group, is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and collaborative leader to oversee day-to-day newsroom operations in the role of Assistant News Director. This person will drive all aspects of the editorial mission and work closely with the News Director to implement strategic planning for content across all platforms. This role will have a special emphasis around the CBS News Atlanta streaming platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- This leader is a key decision maker in the newsroom, ensuring all content meets journalistic standards as well as the strategic vision set in partnership with the VP/News Director.
