About the Role Thiel College seeks an Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach to assist with the organization and supervision of the men’s soccer program while helping develop student-athletes both on and off the field. The selected candidate will assist with the development and oversight of the program’s JV team and will report to the Director of Soccer / Head Men’s & Women’s Soccer Coach and the Director of Athletics. What You'll Do
- Assist the Head Coach with organization and supervision of the men’s soccer program.
- Coach and teach instructional skills, tactical concepts, and player development.
- Recruit quality student-athletes with a commitment to academic and athletic success.
- Mentor and support student-athletes throughout the academic year.
- Assist with scouting and match preparation.
- Assist with planning and implementation of training sessions.
- Assist with fundraising activities, camps, clinics, and community engagement opportunities.
- Assist with travel coordination, equipment management, and operational duties.
- Assist with social media content creation and program branding initiatives.
- Serve as a gameday administrator as assigned.
- Follow all NCAA Division III, Presidents’ Athletic Conference, and Thiel College rules and regulations.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and positive representation of Thiel College.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and Director of Soccer / Head Coach. What We're Looking For
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Follow all NCAA Division III, Presidents’ Athletic Conference, and Thiel College rules and regulations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Collegiate coaching and/or recruiting experience.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and relationship-building skills.
