About the Role The Assistant Manager at Hollister, Tanger Outlets Columbus, is a multi-faceted leadership role that blends business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management. You’ll drive sales by analyzing the business and delivering outstanding customer service, oversee daily store operations (opening/closing routines), and lead floorset updates, styling, and product knowledge. You’ll also act as a talent leader, driving recruiting, training, engagement, and development with a promote-from-within philosophy.
What You'll Do
- Perform Opening and Closing Routines
- Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations
- Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management
- Train and develop the non-management staff
- Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales
- Build and maintain visual displays
- Analyze reporting to inform decision making
- Protect store assets & perform inventory control
- Operate Register/Point of Sale systems
- Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders
- Represent the Brand and Exemplify Company Culture and Values
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role
- Maintain a strong customer focus
- Knowledge of current fashion trends
